pawel - hit detection for blocks works now, the can be in any place with any length width and height (can be used for walls, etc), but for some reason when approached at a certain angle, it switches camera view
shagee - giant sphere for sky? worked on texture looks better. found OVERLAY class for george to make hud rule.
george - made a radar for the hud

today shaagnik got a better texture on but blender's having some issues.
otherwise pawel worked on rotating the dude properly, george got started on some hud stuff, pawel worked on hit detection. also shaagnik started some art for the hud.

WE DID A LOT OF STUFF
today shaagnik worked with some texturing to make it actually work, which it doesn't really still, but we got networking working with three people, and drew them as kinda ugly snowmen (textures are no good). BUT that means we have snowmen moving around (and jumping) and we're also working on getting them to rotate properly, which almost works.

Pawel and George continued to work on the networking thing... there's some problem with finding the number of players.
Shaagnik got his snowman done and has some glitches in his class.

Pawel: added a jump function to the game (pressing space should make him jump), still isn't really tested, and then added some basic hit detection (also still untested) its hard to test when the network code isn't quite working
George: still trying to fix all that network stuff. Progress was actually made. The server and host now send and receive new data. It also turned out that using .ready() was not a good idea. But basically data is now sent to people.
Shagee: continued to work on modeling and texturing

Shagee: finished the basic website and it has everything it needs to have. He'll make it look better later. He also began texturing the snowman model.
Pawel & George: finally fixed the error where the environment wouldn't recognize changes in player position (which is what we've been trying to fix for weeks). Now there is a new network related problem.

pawel: tried to fix networking, no real progress made, went to orchestra because tonight they're going to Boston
george: continued to work with network. Changed basic infrastructure of servers and clients to make updating work right. Still didn't work

Shaagnik made his class sort of work, but it's pulling the wrong number of vertices so there are lots of holes in the thing.
Pawel and George tried to work on the thing, using a thread to make it work? but it didn't, and then pawel left for orchestra.
George tried to change scope issues, but it didn't work. FIENDS
Shaagnik needs to make the snowman model and the website. update tonight?

george wasn't here so he did nothing, though he might be programming some networking code at home. also maybe we can host our website on his sever.
pawel learned to keep the mouse centered and has some dodecahedron moving stuff
shaagnik got object files into jogl and that's pretty rad.
pawel is working with some spherical coordinates so the camera can look up instead of just left and right.
shaagnik is making a basic snowman in blender from a tutorial so he can learn some stuff.
